World Class Golf at New Diamante Course
The new Diamante Dunes Course in Los Cabos is another reason why the area has become an ultimate destination for golfers from around the world. The new course, designed by 20-time PGA tour winner Davis Love III, uses the natural sand dunes and Pacific Ocean beachfront to create one of the finest golf environments in all of Mexico. Its diverse features have drawn comparisons to playing Pebble Beach, Pinehurst or St. Andrews in Scotland, but with the warm, tropical weather of Mexico.
To play the new course at Diamante is to experience much more than just another round of golf. Also included is the use of spacious practice areas (2 driving ranges and unique secluded hitting “caves”), a knowledgeable caddie, breakfast, stops for refreshments during play and a fine lunch at the Slider Bar. All of this is available in a setting that includes miles of sparkling white sand and endless views of the Pacific.
“You are either playing towards the ocean, along the ocean or away from the ocean,” says Love, “and then, at times, you’re down in the dunes and you pop up and are surprised by the view of the ocean. It’s groundbreaking to put a course like this in a resort area like Cabo.”
Just as Pebble Beach and other courses have become legendary for great golf, Diamante will soon be recognized as one of THE courses to play in the world.
